My Story, from dieting to intuitive eating

WHY and HOW I’ve SHIFTED from WEIGHT LOSS & FITNESS COACHING to INTUITIVE EATING & HEALING….

For the last 9 years, I’ve dedicated my journey to helping people lose weight, including myself. I was OBSESSED with knowing the latest fat loss hacks, pinning ‘goal bodies’, and creating exercise and nutritional guidelines to help me reach my ideal body. 

_

I’ve coached people 1:1, in group programs and at gyms. Over the last 3 years I’ve created 3 workout programs which I wrote, film, and edited myself. I was and still am extremely proud of them and still do the workouts to this day.

_

But something in me shifted. I was sick & tired of being focused on weight loss through dieting. I didn’t want to help people lose weight and go on diets. The thought of it made me cringe. I was no longer aligned with the message of  diet culture was shouting. 

_

I was over ‘clean eating’ and ‘once a week cheat meals’. I was burnt out on tracking my food, exercising 6x a week, taking fat burners and pre-workout to stay energized and finding ways to suppress my appetite. I was sick of eating raw spinach, boring ass bland chicken, sweet potatoes and cardboard healthy bread (sorry Ezekiel lovers lol).

I’ve changed a LOT over the last several years, and more than I could have imagined over the last 2 years. Therefor, my message, & what I stand for has changed because of the healing I’ve experienced. When you’re in a self made prison, you sometimes don’t see it until you’ve escaped and stepped outside. 

_

I don’t want to help you lose weight by dieting. I’d rather help you break out of the self made prison diets create. I want to help you heal your past BS stories around “cheat days” and the “I’ll always be big boned” line you keep telling yourself.

_

I want to guide you to WANT to reach for food that gives you energy and nurtures your body. I want to help you enjoy parties, vacations and social gatherings without worrying about what you “can” and “can’t” have. I’d rather help you fall madly in love with your body, expand your mind, and create peace, freedom and confidence with your food.

_

WHY? Because I live this way. And for the first time in 10 years, I feel free. And when you feel free, you can’t help but want to share that with others who are stuck in the trap of the yo – yo weight gain and loss. 

_
